The National Educators Workshop is proud to present:

Bringing Life to Good Ideas

Exploring the Synergy between structural health and human health monitoring

Hosted by North Carolina A&T State University | March 7-10, 2010

The 2010 National Educators Workshop will highlight educational developments that bridge the gap between materials science and biomaterials with human health applications. The symposium will provide a forum for educators with varied backgrounds to transcend traditional engineering by investigating cross-disciplinary activities that lend themselves to the integration and transformation of education and research in the innovative field of advanced biomaterials and aerospace materials.

****  Special tour lined up for Wednesday, March 10th! ***

We will be visiting the International Civil Rights Center that just opened February 1st.

Fifty years ago, the F.W. Woolworth building in Greensboro, N.C., stood as a reminder of segregated life in the south. Today, the building stands as a monument to the power of human courage and its ability to bring about social change. The International Civil Rights Center & Museum is more than just a building designed to house historical exhibits and artifacts. It is a place to witness, to experience and to discuss how to affect social change in our own nation and around the world.
